About the Job

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of the sales department, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for LiveBuzz.

 
Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Identify potential clients within the events industry.
  • Utilise various channels such as networking, cold outreach, and industry research to generate new business leads.

 

Client Engagement and Consultative Selling:

  • Understand the unique needs and objectives of prospective clients and develop tailored solutions to address their requirements.

 

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, follow-ups, and account management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to help clients maximize the impact of their events through our technology solutions.

 

Pipeline Management:

  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using our CRM system.

 

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments within the events and exhibitions space.
  • Leverage market insights to identify new business opportunities and position LiveBuzz as a leader in event technology solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the events industry or related sectors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with event registration software, digital marketing, or technology solutions is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
