The collective of event industry suppliers and contractors behind Ex-Celerate is thrilled to announce the first recipient of the initiative’s £60,000+ prize package.

Chosen for its impassioned, thoughtful positioning as well as its commercial potential, NeuroKind – a show dedicated to championing neurodiversity in professional and educational environments – will receive an extensive package of goods and services, in addition to mentorship from some of the industry’s most successful names.

NeuroKind was founded by Jamie Wallis, who has extensive experience across events and content, having previously held the title of Editor at Exhibition News as well as working for Telegraph Events, Brand Events, TEMBO, and IFA Berlin.

Ex-Celerate member and Director at Ways & Means Events, Miriam Sigler said: “We launched Ex-celerate in order to uncover talent within the industry and remove the barriers that so often hinder great events being brought to life. As a collective, we were all incredibly impressed with Jamie’s proposal. NeuroKind not only makes sense from a commercial perspective, but it's indicative of how important our industry is. An event such as this will have lasting, meaningful impact for so many, with the potential to create real change.”

NeuroKind Founder, Jamie Wallis said: “I really want to thank the companies behind Ex-Celerate for their help, guidance and support of NeuroKind. I am thrilled to be working with Ex-Celerate and excited to be launching a business that I believe has the power to make a positive impact on people and companies across the globe.”

Speaking of the importance of bringing a show like this to market, Wallis commented: “ Neurodiversity in the workspace is an untapped superpower. At NeuroKind, businesses, major corporations, HR, recruitment and educational professionals will learn how to create the right environment and communication strategy that empowers neurodiverse individuals to not only feel included, but thrive. In addition, attendees will also find out how these quickly actionable changes can enable companies to reach new heights in innovation, growth and profitability.”

To support the launch, NeuroKind will receive a package worth more than £60,000 from the Ex-Celerate collective, which includes LiveBuzz, Ways & Means Events, the AEO Association of Event Organisers, Porth Media Ltd, KRM Safety Management, Creative Hire, and Whitespace XPO. In addition, the founding team will benefit from access to mentorship from some of the industry’s most knowledgeable names.
