LiveBuzz has announced the creation of an Innovation Lab, which will focus on digital innovation in a move to position itself as a global thought leader and forerunner of added value digital services. As well as the creative evolution of event technology the team will provide insight and thought leadership to the Global MICE sector.

Since its inception in 2011, the LiveBuzz group has grown to a team in excess of 50 full time staff and achieved exceptional year on year growth and now boasts a profitable multi-million turnover. Core to this impressive growth is LiveBuzz's strategy of embracing the benefits of digital technology to generate efficiencies and tangible value for its clients, while delivering operational excellence onsite.

Justin Craig. LiveBuzz's joint MD commented: "At LiveBuzz our vision is to create excitement, value and innovation for the Global MICE sector. Our deep understanding of the operational needs of organisers and our proven track record of delivering onsite at large events, feeds us with insights that give us a unique advantage over standalone software development houses. Our Innovation Lab is a standalone resource, in addition to our 8 client facing developers, that really allow LiveBuzz to shape the future of event technology".

The new department will be headed up by Luke Ellis LiveBuzz's lead Creative Technologist and consists of 6 full time Senior Software Developers, who are focused 100% on R&D and innovation. Luke comments: "I'm delighted to formerly announce the launch of our Innovation Lab, it has taken several years for us to assemble the considerable talent and gifted developers that make up our team. The power of events lies in human interactions, our Innovation Lab will focus on how organisers and participants can derive more value from these interactions and utilise emerging technologies to maximise efficiencies, value and relevance".
