Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brooklyn, NY. The Event Technical Manager (Trade Shows) will manage the equipment logistics and onsite setup and support for various trade shows and events
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as main point of contact for clients onsite
- Assess client layout, scope and event flow and provide recommendation for successful technical execution, related to LiveBuzz, including needs for layout, appropriate hardware, power, wifi, and networking.
- Manage onsite logistics for hardware and LiveBuzz staff.
- Testing of hardware and software pre event to ensure working as expected.
- Provide leadership and training to team members onsite and offsite.
- Triage onsite issues to resolve and escalate as needed
- Travel up to 75% for onsite event delivery
- Receive equipment returns in office. Unpack and confirm everything returned and in working order. Repack kits with supplies as needed.
- Pack equipment for onsite delivery per the specifications.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper levels in stock to meet the demand of scheduled events.
- Coordinate with Registration Manager pre event to execute onsite operations per requirements and smoothly.
- Collaborate cross departmentally.
- Support Registration Manager with builds, testing, etc
Qualifications
- Experience in Event Registration, Trade Show and Event Logistics
- Proficiency in Registration Technology, Event Management Systems and Online Data Capture
- Strong Client Management and Communication Skills
- Problem-Solving, Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail
- Experience with hardware used for onsite event delivery, networking and wifi requirements.
- Ability to Work On-Site and Support Event-Day Operations
- Familiarity with API Integrations, CRM Tools and Data Analytics is a plus
- Experience in Working in Fast-Paced, Multi-Project Environments
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
