Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for an Event Registration Manager with a strong background in the trade show industry. You’ve worked on trade shows or conferences and are familiar with the fast-paced environment, tight timelines, and problem-solving required to deliver seamless experiences. This role is for a seasoned professional ready to lead and create outstanding registration experiences, not for those new to the events world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of events, managing all aspects from pre-show planning to onsite delivery.
  • Oversee the entire registration process, including setting up online registration forms, managing deadlines, and supporting onsite operations.
  • Partner with clients to understand their event objectives and guide them with confidence and clarity.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Work onsite at events (within the US and occasionally overseas) to ensure flawless delivery and address any issues.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in the events industry (e.g., trade shows, conferences, agency-side, or in-house roles).
  • Experience with event registration platforms or event technology.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and tasks effortlessly.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to keep clients informed and reassured.
  • A calm, solution-oriented mindset that thrives under pressure and adapts to unexpected challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and a commitment to efficient, accurate work.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

  • Knowledge of the behind-the-scenes operations of trade shows and conferences.
  • A knack for identifying process improvements and working smarter.

Job Details

  • Type: Full-time with core office hours, but flexibility is key—events often require work outside the standard 9-to-5.
  • Location: Based in our Brooklyn, NY office, with the ability to commute.
  • Travel: Includes some weekend work and travel within the US and occasionally abroad.
